The spokesman of the NEF, Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, said this during a Channels Television programme on Friday.
The NEF said this on Wednesday through its spokesman, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, who spoke on Arise Television.
The forum was reacting to the recent cases of kidnapping, particularly the abduction of 317 schoolchildren from Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe, Talata-Mafara local government area, in Zamfara State.
The NEF stated this on Saturday through its Spokesman, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, in a tweet.
No doubt, Nigeria is tottering on the precipice. This is perhaps one of the most precarious times in our democratic evolution since 1999. It is as if the emissaries of Hades are encamped in the country.
In a statement on Wednesday, the spokesman of the group, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, told the Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, to rescind the ultimatum given to herders to vacate forest reserves in the state.
