Saraki, according to a statement by his Special Assistant on Print Media, Chuks Okocha, disclosed this when he paid a working visit to the Chairman and members of the National Assembly Service Commission at their temporary office located in Utako, Abuja on Wednesday

They include: the Clerk of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Adamu Abdulkadir; and Giwa Ahonkahi, the Deputy Clerk of the House (Legislative).

Out of the number, 700 aides work for the lawmakers in the Senate, while the remaining 1,870 are engaged by House of Representatives members

Fika had said the appointment of Sani-Omolori still stands because considering the Acting Deputy Clerk of National Assembly, Benedict Efeturi, for the position is against Nigeria Public Service rules
