Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari, the immediate past Governor of Zamfara State, has said that he left no debt or liability to the new administration of Alhaji Bello Matawalle.

The state Chairman of the party, Alhaji Lawali Liman, disclosed this at a press briefing held at the party’s state Secretariat in Gusau on Wednesday.

Yari’s declaration came at a time when representatives of the party from the APC National Headquarters in Abuja said no election was held at all

National Chairman of the party’s state congress, Alhaji Umar Dambo, said Liman emerged as a consensus candidate following agreement reached by party elders and stakeholders.

Liman made the disclosure on Tuesday while briefing a team of journalists on National Democracy Dividend Media Tour organized by the National Secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists.
