Amosun explained that the inauguration was delayed because of the inability of the government to fulfill some of the welfare programmes it had promised to the traditional rulers

Amosun, who said that his administration had done creditably well at the grassroots based on available resources, however, admitted that there were still areas where government’s presence needed to be extended
