The governor revealed this after an extensive meeting between the state government and the leadership of the state labour union.

Governor Bago made the clarification on Monday when he spoke with newsmen in Minna, the Niger State capital.

Governor Bago in a statement he issued in Abuja on Thursday, said such directive was neither from him nor his aides.

Governor Bago gave the commendation at Paiko Local Government Area of the state on Tuesday.
