A statement signed by the Chief Registrar of the High Court, Benson Osawaru, on Friday in Benin stated that Edigin would clock 65 years on May 17, the constitutionally prescribed age for retirement in the bench.

Shaibu stated this at a reception organised in honour of the newly sworn-in state Chief Judge, Justice Esther Edigin on Sunday in Benin.

At the ceremony held at Government House in Benin, Obaseki urged judicial officers in the state to maintain worthy records.
