Ayodele spoke on Thursday following the revelation that more governors elected on the platform of the PDP are planning to defect to the APC.

Umahi made the declaration on Tuesday in Abakaliki while briefing newsmen, noting that only martyrs make sacrifices for the peoples’ interest in difficult times.
Meanwhile, there are indications that the Governor would officially launch his defection in the State on Thursday

Umahi made the declaration in a statewide broadcast after disturbances from protesters led to the destruction of some public facilities in Abakaliki, causing pandemonium among the citizens.
Umahi gave the warning while inaugurating the eight-member judicial panel of inquiry into cases of police brutality, human rights violations and related cases of extra-judicial killings.
Umahi, who made the announcement at the old-Government House complex while addressing #EndSARS protesters, said that any form of road blocks would no longer be tolerated anywhere in the state.

The protesters, comprising celebrities and other youths from within and outside the State, numbering over 2,000, blocked the entrance gate to the Government House chanting anti-SARS songs and bearing placards with various inscriptions calling for end to all forms of Police brutality
Umahi made the disclosure on Wednesday in Abakaliki during a virtual swearing in of his new aides.
