The collaboration was effected during the official visit of the Acting Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, to the Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, Dauda Ali Biu, at the national headquarters of the Commission on Thursday.
This was disclosed by the Assistant Corps Marshal, spokesperson for FRSC, Bisi Kazeem in a statement on Sunday.
Biu, in a press statement signed Sunday by the Corps Public Education Officer (CPEO) Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM) Bisi Kazeem, expressed satisfaction over the good conduct, honesty and sense of patriotism exhibited by the Personnel.
He further stated that the objectives of the special operations are reduction in road traffic crashes, road traffic fatalities and road traffic injuries; prompt response to road traffic crash victims; unhindered engagement in purposeful public education and enlightenment and speedy removal of obstructions from the highways, among others.

The approval came at the end of the meeting of the Commission’s Board, which ratified the resolution of the FRSC Establishment Committee on the promotion.

He stated this in a statement issued by the FRSC on Friday while bemoaning the death of two operatives of the Corps.

Biu gave the charge during his inaugural virtual meeting with the Zonal Commanding Officers of the Corps Thursday.
