A 13-year-old boy, who allegedly stabbed another teenager to death with a broken bottle, was, on Monday, remanded by an Ebute Meta Magistrates’ Court in Lagos.
The defendant allegedly committed the murder on October 21, at Ijanikin, Lagos.
The defendant, whose address was not given, is charged with defilement and conduct likely to cause breach of the peace.
The Chief Magistrate, Adeola Adedayo, who did not take the plea of the teenager, ordered that he should be kept at the Special Correctional Home for Boys at Oregun, Lagos.

The accused are: Abiola Amos, 37; John Jacob, 56; Angela Okpala, 38; Felicia Alhaji, 50; Stephen Omoba, 30; Mohammed Oguche, 33; Akin Adepitan, 35; and Emeka Onwuka, 35.
