The News Agency of Nigeria reports that CEC Africa Investments Limited and KANN Utility Company Limited had sued the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) as 1st and 2nd defendants over the Federal Government’s directive for the company’s  takeover.

Recently, some online news platforms flew a kite purporting that a group of top private sector players and some sitting governors were working on a script to install  Godwin Emefiele as the next Nigerian president in the 2023 presidential election. The report claimed that Emefiele may likely resign his appointment as CBN governor this month to throw his hat into the Presidential ring.

This is even as the Abia group expressed total confidence in the capacity of Professor Ibe to change the narratives in the governance of Abia State with his vast wealth of experiences to address the infrastructural deficits in parts of the state, and as well as revamp critical economic sector to boost development of the state.
