A statement issued in Abuja by Programme Coordinator of the General Ibrahim Attahiru Foundation (GIAF), Dr Titus Orngu, said other dignitaries expected at the event, where the Foundation will be formally launched, include: top serving and retired military officers, captains of industry, members of the diplomatic corps, political leaders, members of the academia and associates of the late General.

The event, held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, concluded their wedding ceremonies.
The father of the bridegroom was among thousands of dignitaries who attended the wedding on Friday afternoon.
Bayero gave the task when the Board of Commissioners of the NCC, led by its Chairman, Prof Adeolu Akande, paid a courtesy visit to the Emirate as part of activities lined up for its 2020 Board Retreat in Kano, according to the NCC Director of Public Affairs, Dr Ikechukwu Adinde.
