No fewer than 1,000 non academic staff of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka on Thursday protested the nonpayment of February salary to workers.
Shekarau said this in Nsukka on Saturday while delivering a lecture entitled: ‘Nation-Building: The Role of Human Development and Good Governance’.
Ozumba made the announcement in Nsukka on Friday during the convocation ceremony of the university for conferment of first degrees and diploma certificates.
The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Benjamin Ozumba, made this known at the pre-convocation briefing at the institution’s Enugu campus on Monday.
