The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has effected a change in leadership of the Lagos State Sports Commission.

The Lagos State Sports Commission has equipped the sports complex of the Lagos State University with new ultra-modern sports facilities.
He said the state with a population of about 18 million should afford better sports structures which would be of international standard.
Bank-Anthony made the disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday in Lagos while speaking on the state’s readiness the Youth Games coming up in September.
They also lauded the State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, for the initiative, tagged: “#MyLagosMyFootball,” which, according to them, has gone a long way to foster enthusiasm in sports among Lagosians, especially football.
The governor gave the directive in his response to the call for additional World Cup Viewing Centres in some parts of the state.
Other changes approved by Ambode in the board of the Commission have not been made public
