In a statement on Wednesday by its National Publicity Secretary, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, the Baraje faction said by accusing Obasanjo of being behind the decision of the faction to stage a walkout at the Special National Convention of the party in Abuja, Tukur was trying to smear the international reputation of the former president

A source, however, told The Eagle Online that it was possible the meeting was cancelled because some of the governors who have aligned with the PDP faction headed by Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje, have decided to boycott the meeting
