Fasina made the appeal during the fourth matriculation ceremony of postgraduate students of the university held in Oye-Ekiti.

Addressing a news conference, on Monday in Oye-Ekiti, ahead of the ceremony, Fasina said that the 91 students were among 3,914 others to be awarded their degree certificates at the event.

The FUOYE Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abayomi Fasina, described the inclusion of FUOYE among the list of the federal universities allegedly planning hike in tuition fees as “strange.”

Fasina gave the advice on Wednesday in Oye-Ekiti, while speaking with newsmen at the third matriculation ceremony of the School of Postgraduate Studies of the institution.

The Deputy Director, Corporate Services of the university, Adeyinka Ademuyiwa, disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen in Oye-Ekiti.
