Nigeria’s senior national team, the Super Eagles, have arrived in Ndola, Zambia.
The team, which departed Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja in the early hours of Saturday, is billed to battle the Chipolopolo of Zambia on Sunday in Ndola.
The delegation, which comprises of the players, officials and media representatives, and led by Minister of Youth and Sports, Barrister Solomon Dalung, landed at Ndola International Airport at about 12:07pm Zambian time.
Also on board the chartered Arik Air aircraft were the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick; his two deputies; Seyi Akinwunmi and Shehu Dikko; former NFF President, Aminu Maigari; and other stakeholders.
On arrival, the delegation was welcomed by the representatives of Nigerian community in Zambia, waving the Nigerian flag and singing.
