All roads would lead to the Abuja National Stadium, venue of the Sports Federation Election on Tuesday (tomorrow) where new Federation Presidents and Secretaries would emerge via votes.
There have been serious politicking among sports federations in the country and some of the federation presidents are using their achievements so far since they took over the saddle of leadership as a strong weapon to get re-elected while the incoming ones are using the failures, most especially in the last 2012 London Olympics, to kick out the incumbents and get elected.
The National Sports Commission, The Eagle Online gathered, has put all the machinery in motion for a hugely successful elections tomorrow (Tuesday).
Julius Ogunro, the Special Adviser to the Minister of Sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, said: “The NSC is ready for tomorrow’s elections and I am confident of successful elections.
“The NSC has been working very hard to ensure that everything goes well tomorrow.
“All the logistics have been adequately put in place.
“I wish the candidates best of luck tomorrow.”
