Soyinka, Sagay, Kuye, Boyo, Kutis for SNG’s Town Hall Meeting

The Save Nigeria Group has concluded arrangements to hold a Town Hall meeting on Monday.

The Town Hall meeting, to be held at the Memorable Gardens, Central Business District, Ikeja, Lagos, is in place of the planned “victory rally” that the group had to cancel because of security concerns.

It is also, according to the spokesman of the group, Yinka Odumakin, a way of keeping the challenges facing the country on the front burner.

Among those to speak at the Town Hall Meeting, with the theme ‘Endemic corruption, the bane of good governance,’ are Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka; constitutional lawyer, Prof. Itse Sagay; Mr. Henry Boyo; Mrs. Priscilla Kuye; the President of the Campaign for Democracy, Joe Okei-Odumakin; and the Convener of the SNG, Pastor Tunde Bakare.

Also billed to attend the Town Hall Meeting are artistes such as Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as Kwam 1; the Kuti brothers, Femi and Seun; and Dede Mabiaku.
