The Boko Haram terrorist group on Sunday alleged that the bombardment of their locations by the Nigerian Air Force component of the Operation Lafiya Dole has resulted in the death of some Chibok schoolgirls.
The claim of the terrorist group was contained in a video it released on Sunday.
According to the group, there are still a sizeable number of the Chibok schoolgirls in its captivity.
The video showed what looked like the dead bodies of some of the Chibok schoolgirls.
One of the Boko Haram terrorists, who spoke in Hausa language in the video, said unless the government of President Muhammadu Buhari released its members in the net of the Nigerian security agencies, it will continue to hold on to the girls.
He said in Hausa language that the members of the group were being held in Maiduguri, Lagos and Abuja and should be released in exchange for the girls who are still alive.
One of the girls, who claimed to be part of the Chibok schoolgirls captured over two years ago, also spoke briefly in Hausa and another native language in the video.
