Cultural activist, Sunday Igboho, has stormed Igangan area of Oyo State in preparation of fulfilling his promise to flush out Fulanis from the area.
The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, had warned Igboho against such a move.
However, the cultural activist on Saturday went with a huge crowd to Igangan, with operatives of the Nigerian Army watching as Igboho and the team entered the town.
In one of the videos, Igboho addressed a huge crowd, justifying why the action must be taken.
He referred to the murder of two prominent indigenes of the area.
One of them being Fatai Yusuf, popularly known as Oko Oloyun.
Makinde is young and inexperienced. He should be in touch with appropriate Yoruba elders to guide him in this matter. We appreciate what Ighoho is doing or the Fulani’s will overrun Oyo state and it will be too late or bloody to handle
Unfortunate.Couldn’t Governor Seyi Makinde be as courageous as Gov.Akeredolu of Ondo State? It has been alleged that Fulani herdmen are now occuppying all uncompleted houses around Jerico area in Ibadan and people in the area are scared. Are the so called vengeful Fulani not at our doorstep already? Over to you Sir,Gov Makinde.
Their is the politics of political affiliation.
GSM is a lone ranger, he must be careful so that bubu doesn’t turn Oyo state to a theatre of war in order to hijack the state
