Silverbird on Wednesday released the names of shortlisted 31 girls as final contestants for the 2014 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria.
The 2014 edition is the 27th.
A statement by Silverbird in Abuja said that the pageant is scheduled to hold on July 18 in Bayelsa State.
It said the event will be jointly hosted by the Bayelsa State Government and the Silverbird group.
It added that the girls are currently participating in camping activities in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
Princess Dennar is representing the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja at the pageant.
In 2001, the MBGN pageant made history when it produced the first Miss World, Miss Agbani Darego, from Rivers State.
The pageant dates back to 1983 when it was called Miss Universe Nigeria.
However, in 1986, it was re-branded and renamed the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant.
