Senator Danjuma Laah who picked his party’s ticket to seek a fresh mandate on Wednesday has promised to ensure quality representation if re-elected in 2019.
Laah had scored 592 votes to floor his only challenger, Hon. Adams Jagaba, who got 353 votes in the election held in Kafanchan.
Speaking to a crowd of jubilating supporters in Kafanchan, Laah thanked the PDP family for keeping faith with him.
He promised to seek more projects that would improve the living standard of the constituents.
He said: “Some projects are in the offing while some are ongoing. We shall try to complete all the projects and even seek new ones toward a better southern Kaduna.”
The lawmaker saluted his rival for demonstrating the spirit of sportsmanship by quickly embracing him when the result was announced, and promised to run an all-inclusive leadership.
