The Senate will on Wednesday (today) approve the report of its Committee on Public Accounts, which indicted 59 government agencies.
Barring last minute change of mind, the report has already been scheduled for the consideration at plenary.
Among the agencies indicted by the report are the Nigerian Port Authority, Office of the National Security Adviser, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Bureau of Public Enterprise and Joint Admission Matriculation Board.
The report was presented for the consideration before the Senate few weeks ago by the Chairman of the Committee, Senator Matthew Urhoghide, for consideration, but the lawmakers ordered him to summarise the report.
It was learnt that the report will be handed over to the Presidency for further action as many officials of some agencies involved may be handed over to anti-graft agencies.
