The Lagos State Government under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed a medical doctor and Global Health Consultant, Babatunde Ajayi, as the new General Manager of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency.
This was revealed in a statement by LASEPA’s Deputy Director of Public Affairs, Hassan Mamud, on Monday.
According to Mahmud, Ajayi has years of experience in global health, disaster epidemiology and environmental health.
Mahmud also described Ajayi as a vibrant medical practitioner and a seasoned administrator.

He said Ajayi, a former Special Assistant to Lagos State Commissioner for Health, led several projects and initiatives that improved health outcomes in the state.
According to Mahmud, Ajayi succeeds Dr. Dolapo Fasawe, who has taken a higher responsibility in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
