Speaking to journalists after the Progressives Governors’ Forum meeting held in Abuja on Wednesday, chairman of the forum and Kebbi State Governor, Senator Atiku Bagudu, appreciated the success recorded by the Muhammadu Buhari-led All Progressives Congress (APC), despite the constraints occasioned by limited resources.

Speaking on Thursday at a stakeholders’ symposium organized to by Lagos State Blood Transfusion Service to commemorate the year 2021 World Blood Donor Day celebration, Abayomi explained that government is saddled with two responsibilities when it comes to the provision of blood;  the adequate supply of blood and availability of only safe blood for transfusion.

The Second Five-Year Plan 2020-2025 is an updated action document succeeding the 2015 Climate Change Policy and Action Plan adopted by Lagos after the landmark Paris Climate Change Conference, which encapsulated the state’s vision for achieving a zero-carbon Lagos.

Governor Sanwo-Olu in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile, said the death of the founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations, a Christian megachurch that runs the Emmanuel TV television station, was painful.

Speaking during the first anniversary of coronation of Oba Omogbolahan Lawal (Abisogun II) as the 15th Oniru of Iruland, Governor Sanwo-Olu said that he was proud of the achievement of the monarch in the last one year that he ascended the throne of his forebears. He added that more infrastructural and economic development had taken place in his kingdom within the first year of his ascendancy.

He made the promise on Saturday while receiving delegation of the Police Wives Association of Nigeria (POWA) led by its President and Wife of the Inspector General of Police, Hajia Hajara Alkali, during a courtesy visit at the Lagos House, Marina.
