As reported by the Mirror, Ronaldo and his Real Madrid team-mates boarded a flight to Tokyo in the early hours of on Sunday.
They will play Mexico’s Club America in the semi-finals on Thursday.
Gareth Bale is the only squad-member to remain behind, having undergone surgery on an ankle injury which is set to rule him out for several months.
This could turn out to be another successful season for Ronaldo, with Real currently six points clear at the top of La Liga following their 3-2 victory over Deportivo La Coruna.
Ronaldo has scored ten goals in La Liga so far this season – by far the most in the Real squad.
