FC Bayern München midfielder, Franck Ribéry, has been ruled out of next Wednesday’s trip to Arsenal FC with a buttock injury.
Ribéry underwent surgery last week on a burst blood vessel and while club doctor, Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt, says the French international is recovering well, the trip to north London comes too soon.
The 30-year-old will resume light training at the end of this week and gradually step it up, with the second instalment of Bayern’s UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie with Arsenal FC on March 11.
