Rangers International FC continued its brilliant run in the Nigeria Premier League on Saturday with a 1-1 away draw in Minna at the expense of Niger Tornadoes.
The draw was good enough to ensure Rangers retained the top spot in the NPL after 11 rounds of matches.
The Flying Antelopes now have 20 points from 11 matches, closely followed by Kano Pillars with 18 points from 10 games.
The Coach Okey Emordi-led side dominated the play but was unlucky not to have emerged victorious.
Super Eagles winger, Ejike Uzoenyi, put Rangers in front with his 28th minute goal but Tornadoes fought back gallantly to earn the equalizer through Sibi Gwar in the 43rd minute of play.
Rangers’ handler, Okey Emordi, expressed satisfaction with the score line.
In Port Harcourt, Sharks defeated hard fighting Kwara United by a lone goal.
Hope Fibresima scored the only goal of the encounter in the 90th minute.
