The Senator Representing Plateau North Senatorial District in National Assembly, Senator G.N.S. Pwajok, has polled 435 votes in the Peoples Democratic Party governorship primaries in Plateau State to emerge the party’s candidate.
The Deputy Governor of the state, Ambassador Ignitus Longjan, who was Pwajok’s closest challenger, scored 163 votes, followed Senator Victor Lar, who scored 108.
Pwajok has been projected to be Governor Jonah Jang’s candidate.
Eight hundred and eighteen delegates participated in the exercise.
