The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has sent a condolence message to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, on the demise of his son, Pastor Dare Adeboye.

The younger Adeboye’s death became public knowledge in the early hours of Thursday.

According to available information, Pastor Dare slept and never woke up.

He was discovered dead by his wife, Temiloluwa, in his bedroom in their home in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.

Primate Ayodele described the news of the younger Adeboye’s death as a rude shock and a huge loss to the body of Christ.

He noted that his demise will leave a huge vacuum in RCCG and in the Adeboye dynasty.

However, he urged every member of the RCCG not mourn like those without hope because on the last day, adding that he will be re-united with the saints to depart no more.

Also, he prayed for Pastor Adeboye and his wife, Pastor Foluke Adeboye, to be strengthened and be given the fortitude to bear this great loss.

Ayodele said: “The news of Pastor Dare Adeboye’s death is a huge loss to the body of Christ, RCCG and the Adeboye dynasty.

“I want to urge God’s General, Pastor Adeboye, and his wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Foluke Adeboye, to stay strong at this moment even as I pray to God to grant them strength and grace to bear this huge loss.

“Pastor Dare Adeboye has laboured for Christ and will always be remembered for his sacrifices for God’s kingdom.

“However, as Christians, let’s not mourn like those without hope as we will all be re-united with him on the last day.

“May his gentle soul rest in Peace.”
