The Presidency on Monday confirmed the sack of Ibrahim Lamorde as the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
A statement on Monday by presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, said President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Ibrahim Mustafa Magu as the Acting Chairman of the EFCC.
Magu is an Assistant Commissioner of Police.
Lamorde is to proceed on terminal leave ahead of the formal expiration of his tenure in February next year.
