Super Eagles’ midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, has said that SC Lazio will pick the maximum points in their Serie A home game against Sampdoria on Sunday.
Onazi, who came on as a second half substitute to score in Lazio’s 1-3 away win at Inter, believes his team will keep to their new found form and further cement a Europa League spot.
He said: “Sampdoria is a solid side and we so much have respect for them. So, it is going to be an interesting game as we are ready to give it our all.
“We had a wonderful outing in Europe this season, so we want to win a spot to play on the continent again when the new season starts.
“We also hope to move a step ahead this time around than where we were sent packing from the competition the last time.”
Onazi was a part of the Super Eagles AFCON 2013 winning squad.
With two games to the end of the season, Lazio is placed sixth with 58 points on the log while Sampdoria are occupying the 15th spot with 39 points and are still battling to survive relegation.
