Lazio midfielder, Ogenyi Eddy Onazi, has revealed that he has been approached by clubs wanting to sign him.
The Nigeria international only signed an extension to his contract with Lazio last September, but in recent weeks he had found himself watching from the side-lines.
This has led to speculation he could leave the Serie A side in the summer, and a move to England could be a possibility.
West Ham United have been linked with Onazi this month.
There are claims the Premier League side have made contact for the player.
Onazi revealed that about 10 clubs have approached him, but at the moment he just wants to concentrate on playing for Lazio.
He believes because of his age he still needs time to grow and play in European competitions.
The Nigerian went on to say that in life you just need to take each step at a time.
“I was approached by more than ten clubs, but I am a Lazio player. I’m still young, I want to grow and play in European competitions. In life you have to take one step at a time,” said the youngster when asked about recent interest from other clubs.
Earlier this month, there were claims that West Ham, along with Liverpool, had made contact with Lazio about the youngster.
Lazio’s coach, Stefan Pioli, has recently preferred to partner Marco Parolo with Argentine Lucas Biglia in central midfield, which has resulted in Onazi being the one to miss out.
