Eleven days into office, the Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, on Monday appointed his Communication Manager, Press Secretary (Print Media) and Press Secretary (Electronics Media).
On the team are Jackson Ekwugum (CM), Prince Victor Efeizomor (CP, Print) and Amaechi Udemba (CP, Electronics).
The Governor also appointed Jonathan Onwuka, who reported for Ika-Weekly Newspapers before he emerged as the paper’s editor and later took up Anioma-Watch, as his Press Secretary (Indigenous Newspapers)
Prior to Victor Efeizomor’s appointment, he was the Correspondent of THIS DAY Newspapers in Asaba.
Ameachi Udemba was formerly the Delta State reporter of the Channels Television.
Udemba joined the politics of the state shortly after he was relieved of his appointment by the television Station.
Jackson worked at the defunct News-Day, an Abuja-based newspaper.
He was said to have taken up a consultancy job in Lagos shortly after the newspaper became moribund.
