Ghanian actress, Juliet Ibrahim, on Friday posted a message on her Instagram page asking people to stop insulting and harassing celebrities for funds for OJB’s kidney transplant.
Ibrahim reiterated further that a kidney transplant does not cost more than $50,000.
She opined that she doesn’t understand why people were requesting for $100,000 for the transplant.
Ibrahim, in her statement, said: “I’m sure you all know I run a kidney disease foundation, hence I will know the exact cost for a kidney transplant in India.
“I have been quiet because I have asked the people in charge of OJB broadcast to contact my foundation because I know kidney transplant will not cost more than 50.000 USD.
“Why are they requesting 100.000 dollars, when so many cheaper deals with several hospitals out there in India and even in Ghana, it can be transplanted successfully?
“To get necessary help, those in charge of OJB fund raising need to reach out to the right people and stop harassing celebrities for funds.”
