A foremost legal luminary and industrialist, Chief Chris Ogunbanjo, will chair the 51st Annual General Meeting of the Young Men’s Christian Association, Lagos State chapter.
The AGM is scheduled for June 13 at the Romney Hall of YMCA, 77, Awolowo Way, Ikoyi Lagos.
According to the YMCA, there will also be a keynote address titled: “Corruption: The Canker Worm of Economic Development of Nigeria.”
The address will be delivered by Ayo Ogunruku, a former Registrar of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
Olukoyade Ogunyemi, the Principal Programme officer of YMCA in Lagos State, while speaking on this year’s AGM, disclosed that organizers chose the topic on corruption being the major bane of the nation’s development.
The General Secretary of the Association, Kehinde Abiola, added that top government functionaries and other dignitaries are expected to grace the occasion.
