The Ogun State Government has offered to play host two international matches this month.
In a statement signed by the Press Officer of the state’s Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mr. Rotimi Oduniyi, the matches involve Nigeria’s female national teams.
According to Oduniyi, the National Under-17 side, the Flamengoes, will take on their Zambian counterparts in the 2nd leg of the last Africa Under-17 World Cup qualifier on March 24.
The senior team, the Super Falcons, will also trade tackles with their Zimbabwean counterparts in a World Cup elimination match, later this month in the state.
Both matches are slated for the M.K.O Abiola International Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta.
It is recalled that the National under-17 female team hosted their Kenyan counterparts at the same venue last month.
