A leading Ibadan, Oyo State born fuji star, Alhaji Akande Abass, popularly known as Obesere, said he would hit the music stand with a new album in February.
Abass told the News Agency of Nigeria in Ibadan on Monday that the new album has 15 tracks, among which are Ami Ase and Mobinutan, both titled in Yoruba.
He said though he had not featured much in hip hop music, he assured his fans that the new album would also feature many hip hop songs.
“I have done a lot of collaboration with Timaya, Ajasa just to mention a few and I am always ready anytime when it comes to music,” he said.
Abass said the usual supremacy and quality tussle among musicians makes the industry lively and more interesting sometimes, adding that such breeds development and sophistication.
Abass said such tussle was not only in the music industry but also found in other professions.
