Ambassador Ahmed Inusa, Nigeria’s envoy to Belgium and the European Union on Thursday, presented his letters of Credence to the King of the Belgians, King Phillipe.
The Europe Correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria on Thursday in Bern reports that Inusa was ushered into the Kings palace by 56 gorgeously dressed royal horses in a colourful ceremony that lasted 45 minutes.
Speaking at the event, the envoy pledged to deepen bilateral relations between Nigeria and Belgium and also promote relations with the European Union.
NAN reports that Nigeria and Belgium have a 56-year diplomatic relations.
Nigeria’s major export to Belgium is crude oil.
