One of the Nigerian nurses who treated late Liberian Ebola patient, Patrick Sawyer, is dead.
The nurse works with the First Foundation Hospital, Lagos.
The Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, confirmed this development on Wednesday.
Chukwu said the nurse died on Tuesday.
He also said seven other persons are down with the disease in Nigeria.
However, the Nigerian doctor who treated Sawyer is said to be still alive.
