The Nigeria Football Federation has laid down rules for the country’s officials who have indicated interest to contest for the FIFA presidency next year.
Former Nigerian Captain, Segun ‘Mathematical’ Odegbami, and for Abia State Governor, Orji Uzor Kalu, have declared their interest to replace outgoing FIFA boss, Sepp Blatter.
In a communiqué after an emergency executive committee in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Monday, the NFF stated the candidates have to get a letter of endorsement from CAF as well as their respective Football Associations.
The aspirants should also present a letter of support from the National Sports Commission.
They also have to prove they can fulfill all the FIFA presidential elections eligibility provisions.
