The Chairman of the Technical and Development Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, Barrister Chris Green, and the General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, are in Cairo for a two-day seminar for the confederation’s match commissioners.
The duo departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Monday aboard an Egypt Air flight for the seminar scheduled for July 12 and 13 at the CAF headquarters, 6th October City, Egypt.
Sanusi has already been appointed by the Confederation of African Football as match commissioner for the 2017 Africa U20 Cup of Nations qualifier between Ghana and Senegal, scheduled for Accra July 23, 2016.
The NFF scribe will work with Togolese officials, including referee Kouassi Attisso Attiogbe, assistant referees Cherif Mollah Banna and Adam Moukaila Biyao, and reserve referee Kokou Ognankotan Ntale.
It is the same weekend that the Nigeria U20, Flying Eagles, will host Sudan in their final qualifying round return leg match at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
The reigning African champions came from a goal down to defeat their hosts 2-1 in Omdurman in Sunday’s first leg, and returned to Nigeria on Monday.
