As you are reading this, Babatunde Omidina, better known as Baba Suwe, is at the Court of Appeal in Lagos State, fighting to wriggle out again from the drug case he won against the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
This time around, the NDLEA has filed an appeal against the judgment that discharged and acquitted Omidina and awarded him damages.
Omidina won the case October 2011.
Justice Yetunde Idowu had order the anti-drug agency to pay the comedian N25 million for damages done to his person.
Omidina, it would be recalled, spent couple of weeks with the agency over suspicion of ingestion of substances believed to be hard drugs.
