The leader of pan-Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, has alleged that the National Assembly is a product of a Nigerian constitution, which, according to him, is a fraud.
He spoke following the advocacy of the National Assembly to implement the proceedings of the 2014 National Conference.

While speaking at the National Dialogue on the Future of Nigeria in Honour of Prof Ben Nwabueze held at the National Institute of International Affairs NIIA Lagos State, on Monday, Adebanjo said the members of the Assembly cannot make amendment to the Constitution they have no idea of its origin or how it came about.
