The Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria, Ima Niboro, on Friday in Emevor, Delta State buried his mother, Deaconess Agnes Ukeseh, amid fanfare.
Speaking at a reception immediately after her interment, Niboro said that his mother was truly a woman of God who sought God in all that she did.
He stressed that all who came across her knew that she lived a good life and expressed confidence that the deceased would be resting in peace.
He said: “My mother was a woman of God who took the issues of God with all zeal.
“A church was recently dedicated in her honour, while she was alive because of her love for God.
“My mother was a lover of children and hence it is a good thing to honour her.”
The managing director said that his mother had left an indelible mark in his life, that of his siblings, her grand children and all those she met her during her time on earth.
Niboro thanked the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Prof. Amos Utuama, for attending the burial and described him as a role model.
Attesting to the great Godly works of the deceased, Bishop Augustus Owraigbo, the General Overseer of United Believers Missions (the Deceased’s Church), said she was indeed good.
Owraigbo recalled that when nurses in the state went on strike, late Ukeseh turned her house to a maternity ward and delivered women of their babies free of charge.
