Nigerian international, Victor Moses, has been linked with a move to Swansea City, as the former Wigan man could be available in a summer clear-out.
The 22-year-old moved to Stamford Bridge last summer after an impressive campaign with Wigan, but has failed to establish himself among the star names in the Chelsea starting line up.
With the likes of Juan Mata, Eden Hazard and Oscar ahead in the pecking order this season, Moses has had to be content with a place on the bench, but is understood to want more regular first team football and is likely to consider a loan move at Swansea.
Moses managed 10 goals in all competitions for Chelsea this season despite his limited appearances, showing that he remains a player with great potential who arguably deserves more of a chance.
The Nigerian attacker started his career with Crystal Palace, where he attracted interest from big clubs such as Arsenal and Barcelona.
The London club has a good track record of producing talented young players through their ranks, such as Manchester United-bound Wilfried Zaha.
Despite the interest from bigger teams, Moses wound up at Wigan and it took him a while to settle at the DW Stadium as he had numerous problems with injuries.
He enjoyed a breakthrough campaign last season as he played a crucial part in ensuring the Latics’ survival in the Premier League.
A technically gifted dribbler, Moses looks suitable to Swansea’s style of play if the club manages to sign him.
The 22-year-old can also offer them an option upfront.
