The Appeal Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation is to meet next week in Abuja to review match fixing cases involving Dolphins of Port Harcourt and Sunshine Stars of Akure.
The committee to be headed by the President of the NFF, Aminu Maigari, will review the verdict of the Disciplinary Committee headed by Barrister Leye Adepoju.
The Adepoju-led body had imposed N10 million and N20 million fines on Dolphins and Sunshine Stars respectively.
Dolphins’ Manager, Stanley Eguma, also bagged a five-year ban for his alleged involvement.
However, the two sanctioned clubs met the Friday deadline for appeal, which necessitated the meeting of the Appeal Committee next week.
