Three powerful explosions on Wednesday rocked Chibok in Borno State on Wednesday.
The explosions occurred in the town where over 200 schoolgirls were kidnapped by members of dreaded sect, Boko Haram, in April 2014.
No fewer than 13 persons have been confirmed killed as at press time.
The initial casualty figure was put at 10.
The attack was said to have been carried out by five suicide bomber who were identified as females.
Over 30 persons are said to be injured.
The first bomb went off at a weekly market in the town, while another was detonated at a security checkpoint.
The location of the third explosion could not be confirmed as at press time.
