Manchester United and Manchester City are eyeing Nigeria’s U-17 whizkid Taiwo Awoniyi.
The 17-year-old plays in Nigeria with the Imperial Soccer Academy Seyi Olofinjana.
Kalmar FF have a partnership with the Academy, but it is non-exclusive, meaning Awoniyi can move elsewhere.
United, City, Monaco and Porto are all keen.
KFF Sports Chief, Thomas Andersson Borstam, told 24Kalmar.se: “Yes, it is more or less the same position as the last six months. Sure, there’s rumours of big clubs around Taiwo and we do not know what is real or not but we live in hope.
“We have full respect for the decision Taiwo will take, but we still hope that he will take his first steps in Europe with us in Kalmar, we still have a good relationship with him.”
