Defender Chuka Uwaga extended their lead in the Match Day 12 fixture through a stunning diving header.
Midfielder Tchato Giscard put the game beyond the visiting Owerri side when he scored in the second minute of added time.
Madu said the match result was a disappointment and the match had put him under pressure.
He said: “This is a type of match that can put you under pressure.
“This scoreline is not something to cheer about.
“This means I need to work on the team.
“It is not that we are doing so badly in the league, but this kind of result is unexpected of us.
“We need more time to adjust to the league and we need not rush over this.”
